Drop in Kuwait rents of apartments by KD60

(MENAFN) A decline in the rents of investment apartments by almost KD60 was viewed in the last two months, after the issuance of governmental decisions that affect renters.

Moreover, in areas like Salmiya, rents have reduced from KD400 to KD320 and from KD360 to KD300, due to the end of summer holidays and advent of the school year.

Meanwhile, this year rents are dropping, which a relief is following an irrational surge in rental values that was witnessed in the real-estate market in the previous years.

The drop in rents was attributed to increased availability of apartments which has exceeded the market need, indicating that the rent of two bedroom will cost less than KD250.
