(MENAFN) The number of mobile services subscribers increased by 0.16 percent amid May as compared to April, while the number of mobile subscribers grew to 95.45mn.
On the other hand, internet users increased by 700.000 new subscribers and the number of internet users in the country grew from 33.6m in April to 34.3m in May.
Accordingly, as for USB modem users; the indicator recorded an increase rate of 3.12 percent, whereas the number of users grew from 3.52mn to 3.64mn.
Moreover, the cost of telecoms services rose in Q1 of 2016 compared to Q4 of 2015, while the cost of ADSL services grew from USD6.2 in Q4 to reach USD6.4 in Q1 this year.
