(MENAFN) A government report showed on Thursday that S. Korea's urban population continued increasing last year by more than 90% of the total population living in less than 17% of the total land.
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the number of people living in urban areas reached 47.73 million by the end of 2015.
However, the area accounts only for 16.61% of the country's total.
