Egypt's President to visit India in September

CAIRO, 25th August, 2016 (WAM) -- Egypt's President, Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi, will be visiting India in September at the invitation of Indian President, Pranab Mukherjee.

A high-level delegation of Ministers, officials and business leaders will be accompanying el-Sisi on his 3-day visit.

The visit comes within the framework of promoting the historical relations between both countries.

During the visit, which begins on September 1st, President el-Sisi will meet with Pranab Mukherjee and a number of senior officials.

The meetings will tackle mutual cooperation between Egypt and India and means to enhance bilateral ties in various spheres. They also will address the latest regional and international developments and issues of mutual concerns.

President el-Sisi's visit will give further momentum to the already strong partnership between the two countries, India's Ambassador to Egypt, Sanjay Bhattacharyya, told the Press Trust of India.
