Iran to agree on first oil deals in 2017


(MENAFN) According to Wood Mackenzie Ltd. Iran is to sign major oil and gas deals with companies in H2 of the next year, and it"s the first such contracts after the international sanctions were lifted on the country.

Homayoun Falakshahi, a research analyst at the consulting firm confirmed that the first oil will flow under this agreement will be in 2020.

Moreover, Iran had worked on the terms of Iran Petroleum Contract (IPC) for that last three year, and should finalize them by the end of this year.
