(MENAFN) After a meeting with Malaysia's Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Iranian official made a statement to confirm Malaysia's willingness to resume oil purchasing from Iran.
However, Iran used to send a daily average of 50,000 to 60,000 barrels of oil to the country, and that was in the pre-sanctions era.
Iranian Oil Minister, Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, stated that Malaysian companies are ready to resume cooperation with Iran and the two sides will soon begin the negotiations.
