Increase 11% in S. Korea's household debt


(MENAFN) S. Korea's Central Bank said that the country's household debt increased 11% from a year earlier in Q2 even with the stricter lending rules.

According to the data by Bank of Korea, the country's overall household debt climbed 1,257.3tr Won in Q2 period from a 1,131.5tr Won, comparing to the same period last year.

However, household debts, which includes credit-card spending, rose 2.7% quarter-on-quarter.
