Passengers stranded as glitch delays Dubai Metro
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Metro services in Dubai were briefly interrupted on Wednesday evening, with passengers stuck for as long as 45 minutes.
According to commuters who wrote to Khaleej Times, the service was interrupted on the Red Line towards Rashidiya.
Surfers, who sent in pictures of the incident, said there were long queues at Noor Bank, Business Bay and Financial Centre stations.
According to a tweet by the RTA, services are now back to normal.
"RTA thanks the metro users for their cooperation with the station staff and apologizes for any inconvenience caused," it said on Twitter.
