Kuwait Medical Students Team organizes conf. on science, humanity


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Aug 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Medical Students Team in Ireland organized on Wednesday a conference on "science and humanity" aiming to link the academic study to the humanitarian action.

Addressing the conference, Mohammad Al-Ajmi, the team's head, said this was the first activity of the team held inside the homeland, adding that the conference was part of several ones organized in Ireland since the team was established in 2014.

He affirmed that the team's members seek to be an ideal example for the Kuwaiti youth and their better ambassadors abroad.

Meanwhile, Abdullah Al-Adwani, the representative of Ministry of State for Youth Affairs, stressed that the ministry has been paying much attention to back youth and their activities.

He added that this is part of the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah that urge officials to provide support for young people.

The conference discussed humanitarian efforts exerted by doctors, and briefed the community on medical researches and projects provided by fresh graduates.

The event, which includes other activities, was held at the National Library of Kuwait and under the auspices of Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah. (end) ss.fsh.hm
