UK manufacturing export orders jump

(MENAFN) Orders for UK manufacturing exports reached its highest in 2 years, while the weaker pound pushed up price expectations to their top amid a year.

Accordingly, of all factory orders dropped slightly in August to -5, but that beat a median forecast of -9.

Moreover, manufacturers were more positive as output expectations for the coming three months increased to 1 from 6 in July.

A post-referendum decline in sterling was likely to help the economy, while opponents proclaimed that the outcome of June vote could tip the country into recession.
