(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) has recently honoured employees, who had achieved 'excellent' rating in Employees Performance Assessment Results 2015.
While congratulating the employees, ADM acting general manager Musabbah Mubarak Al Murar called upon others to adopt the culture of excellence as a lifestyle. "Holding this annual gathering aims at felicitating excellent-performing employees in recognition of their sustained efforts to improve the performance in a way that fulfills the municipality's objectives in nurturing service concepts towards meeting expectations of the community, and improving the rating of customers satisfaction with the services of all municipal sectors," said Al Murar. "Celebrating these employees epitomises the municipality's strategy aimed at fostering constructive abilities and excellent-performing employees and driving excellence values. More efforts are still needed towards maintaining such improvements rendering excellence a culture embraced by all employees through sticking to this methodology as it reflects the corporate loyalty and improvement of the community service," he said. The event is an annual tradition held by the municipality in recognition of achievers. It conforms to the municipality's strategy to motivate innovative skills and upgrade the performance of employees to better serve customers and community members. The municipality honoured excellent-performing employees - 'Employee of the Year 2015' - one of the highlighted categories of the assessment programme. "The municipality is confidently striving to perpetuate the values of excellence to make them an integral part of employees' culture and tools enabling improved performance and service level. Accordingly, this ceremony is considered a key component of values and principles of excellence," he added. The municipality will honour other categories throughout the year under a specific programme to encourage employees to aspire to higher performance at the individual or corporate levels. "The municipality has made giant strides in leveraging the performance of sectors, divisions and sections, and aligning it with the strategic vision and values set out by the Government of Abu Dhabi aimed at improving government performance," Al Murar said. A host of executive directors, directors and section heads and ADM employees attended the event.
