UAE- Ajman Ruler receives Sri Lankan Ambassador

AJMAN, 23rd August, 2016 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, today received Sulaiman Jiffry Mohideen, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the UAE, at the Emiri Court. He was accompanied by the Sri Lankan Consul-General in Dubai and northern regions, Charitha Yattogoda.

They exchanged cordial talks on ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.

Sheikh Humaid praised the role being played by the Sri Lankan diplomat and diplomatic mission to develop ties and boost them in various fields, while Ambassador Mohideen extended thanks and appreciation to the Ruler of Ajman for the cooperation he is receiving allowing him to perform his duties successfully.

He also highlighted the cultural boom witnessed by the UAE in general and Ajman in particular in various domains.

A number of senior officials attended the meeting.
