Coffee exports hit record high in Vietnam


(MENAFN) According to Vietnam Coffee-Cacao Association (VICOFA), the country intends to export 1.7m tons of coffee in 2015-2016 crop year, up by 41%, hitting a record high in export volume.

Also the country is expected to earn around USD3.1b from coffee exports, up 19.2% year-on-year basis.

However, Vietnam's total coffee consumption will hit a new record high of more than 1.8m tons, including at least 102.000 tons of coffee domestically consumed.
