Jordan budget deficit reaches JD291.2m in H1


(MENAFN) Budget deficit in the Jan-June period of this year recorded JD291.2m, compared with JD223.5mn in the same period of 2015.

Additionally, the regional revenues and external grants totaled JD3.528bn, compared with JD3.35bn in the same period of last year.

Moreover, regional profits in the cited half reached JD3.28b, marking a 6.7 percent increase, compared with the same period of 2015 at JD3.05bn.

Meanwhile, spending in the first half of 2016 valued JD3.82b, while it recorded JD3.75bn in the same period of 2015.
