S. Korea's Exports of Smaller firm's drop 4.5%


(MENAFN) Data showed that outbound shipments by the country's Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME's) dropped 4.5% in H1 of 2016 compared to the previous year, through slowdown in the global economy.

Based on the data by the Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA), exports of smaller firms reached USD90.55b in H1, whereas outbound shipments by large companies fell 12.9% to USD150.8b over the same period.

Moreover, smaller firms' exports increased 0.8% in June, marking a rise for the second month respectively.
