Qatar trade jumps to 6pct in Q2


(MENAFN) Qatar trade balance, which shows the difference between whole exports and imports of goods amid Q2 this year reached QR20.56bn, up to 6 percent.

However, the trade surplus showed a decline of almost 53 percent compared to QR43.74bn posted in the same quarter of 2015.

Accordingly, the value of Qatar whole exports in the cited period of the recent year stood at QR49.4bnn, which dropped by QR23.7bn or 32.4 percent.

The decline in exports was due to lower exports of mineral fuels, lubricants and related materials by QR21.3bn, chemicals and related products by QR1.8bn.
