UAE- Austrian's midnight bravery saves Arab woman from death

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) An Austrian woman has been honoured by Ras Al Khaimah Police for rescuing a seriously injured young Arab woman.

Brig Abdullah Khamis Al Hadidi, Acting Chief Commandant of the RAK Police, said that Sabrina Hovoski, the Austrian woman who works with a first class hotel in RAK, bravely rushed to the rescue of the young Arab before the relief team arrived.

"The victim was driving her car when she lost control over the steering wheel, veered off the road, and turned over several times opposite the Hamra Mall in Ras Al Khaimah."

Sabrina rushed to the woman, pulled her out of the car, gave her the critical first aids needed, and called the central operations room for help, he added.

"Such a quick response has significantly rescued the Arab woman's life."

All members of the society have to follow her path and show social responsibility to each other, Brig Al Hadidi added.

"The victim might have lost her life if Sabrina hadn't taken a quick reaction," he said, noting that the RAK Police are keen to reward positive responses that set an example for others.
