Two police officers killed in attack on security checkpoint in Egypt

Cairo, Dhu-AlQa'dah 18, 1437, August 21, 2016, SPA -- Two police officers were killed Sunday when gunmen
attacked a security checkpoint north of the Egyptian capital, Cairo,
state television reported, according to dpa.
The unidentified gunmen opened fire at the checkpoint in the Nile Delta province of Menufuiya, leaving three police officers and two civilians injured, the broadcaster added.
The assailants are still being sought, according to the report.
