Foreign direct investment in Oman reaches OMR6.7b
(MENAFN) The value of foreign direct investment (FDI) reached OMR6.7bn at the end of Q2 of last year.
Accordingly, the gross domestic product (GDP) at recent prices in retail and wholesale reached almost OMR2.29b.
On the other hand, the contribution of the service sector activity to GDP increased by 3.1pct to OMR12.215b at the end of 2015.
In addition, the value of trade exchanges, involving oil and other imports and exports in the cited year reached OMR24.557bn.
