(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug. 19 (Petra) -- A Turkish parliamentary delegation, currently on a visit to Jordan, has praised ties with the Kingdom.
The Turkish lawmakers also praised the Jordanian stance against the failed military coup in Turkey. During a press conference at the Turkish Ambassador's home in Amman, the Turkish MPs reiterated their country's firm stance which calls for the territorial integrity of Iraq and Syria. They also spoke about the failed military coup last month, which was confronted by a strong stance from the Turkish people and government.
Further, the visiting lawmakers spoke about their country's shift in foreign policy with the US and EU, while urging the international community to fight extremist religious groups.
