Jordan- Three killed in road crash in Mafraq


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug. 19 (Petra) -- Three persons were killed and 8 others were wounded on Friday when two vehicles collided in Mafraq, some 73km northeast of Amman, according to sources.

The Civil Defense Department (CDD) added that rescue teams rushed to the scene and administered first aid before evacuating the dead and wounded persons to nearby hospitals.

Two of the dead were Egyptians, while the third was a Jordanian, the CDD added.

The wounded were reported to be in a moderate condition.
