(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug. 18 (Petra) -- President of the Audit Bureau, Abed Kharabsheh, has said the agency is bound by cooperation ties with various accounting oversight agencies to promote the supervisory work locally and internationally.
During a meeting on Thursday with a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) team, Kharabsheh said the Bureau is ready to cooperate with the US agency to serve the national economy and enhance its institutional capacity.
He also briefed the US team on the work of the bureau and its oversight tasks.
They also discussed joint cooperation in the field of using information technology in auditing and supervising and the bureau's needed projects to enhance its potential.
