Kuwait private sector declines, but growth remains pace


(MENAFN) Private sector in Kuwait dropped in April, though growth maintained a healthy pace and whole credit was down by KD156mn during the month.

Moreover, the decline was dominated by a fall in credit for securities purchases, while other sectors were also off.

In addition, the largest drops were in all remaining components of credit, which was off by KD170mn.

Industry, construction and oil & gas also saw declines, while private deposits fell to KD361mn.
