UAE- ERC discusses aid delivery to Sudan

KHARTOUM, 16th August, 2016 (WAM) Officials from the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) Authority and Sudan's Red Crescent Society met in Khartoum today to co-ordinate delivery of humanitarian aid to the people affected by the floods which hit several provinces in Sudan.

The two sides identified the requirements and agreed to purchase food and relief materials from the local markets to provide them to the affected people.

Meanwhile, Suhail Al Qadi, who heads the ERC delegation visiting Sudan, handed the ERC plaque to Professor Hussain Sulaiman Abu Saleh, who thanked the authority for the efforts to help needy people in different countries.
