Jeddah enhances investments in tourism sector
(MENAFN) Jeddah will build more than 2.800 new hotel rooms as a result of 11 projects under way with global investments.
Accordingly, the commission expected that amid the recent year, spending in the regional sector by local and foreign tourists would be SR144.3bn.
Moreover, the kingdom tourism sector was the second largest in terms of attracting people to focus on plans and visions to make economic sectors away from oil resources.
Last year, Jeddah achieved a growth of regional tourism of 21 percent over 2014, which attracted 29 percent of domestic tourism for Makkah.
