(MENAFN) Due to the heat wave that hit S. Korea, electricity use set a new record, according to the government.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy confirmed that the maximum electricity load recorded was 85.18 million kilowatts, passing the previous record of 84.97 million kilowatts.
However, marking the fifth single-digit ratio throughout the year, the electric power reserve ratio went down to 8.% , or 7.22 million kilowatts
