Football: Oman football team to unCork potential with Irish camp

Oman football team are all set for their overseas camp to Cork in Ireland this week.
Oman will play three friendlies as they prepare for the upcoming Asian Cup qualifiers and next year's Gulf Cup. The camp will run from August 17 to September 1.
Oman have already held three local camps under coach Juan Ramon Lopez Caro. They have recently beaten Turkmenistan by a goal in a friendly last week. The coach is on a mission to find his best combination. He has called many players to the camp in his bid to assemble his best set of boys.
The three local camp have helped Ream Madrid's former coach assess his team's strength.
During the Cork camp, the team will play against two local clubs on August 23 and 26. They will also take on the national team.
The Irish camp will be followed by matches against Jordan and Bahrain that will be held in October.
Then the team will have a final camp in November and this will be followed by a match against Japan.
