US inventories Jump 1.2% in June


(MENAFN) While sales recorded the biggest increase in nearly three and a half years, US inventories increased in June.

On Friday, The Commerce Department announced that inventories rose 0.2%. Whereas sales jumped 1.2%, the largest increase since 2013.

As a key component of GDP, analysts expected an increase by 0.1% in June, after a previous gain in May by 0.2%.
