Maan, Aug. 10 (Petra)--Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Imad Fakhoury said that the value of government projects in the southern governorate of Maan was expected to reach JKD122 million.
During a visit to the governorate on Wednesday accompanied by a government team, the minister outlined measures taken by the government to implement the 2016 Maan Governorate Development Program. He expected that government projects will be implemented in Maan in 2016 at a value of JD110 million.
The minister's visit was in line with His Majesty King Abdullah's directives to the government to conduct field visits to get acquainted with local issues and demands.
Fakhoury said that his ministry is coordinating with various public agencies including the General Budget Department to finance projects valued at JD6 million, adding that JD5.7 million were allocated for the education and health sectors in 2015-2016.
