Abu Dhabi- Masdar project to be finished by 2017


(MENAFN) Masdar"s Dudgeon offshore wind energy project is 60 percent finished and will start production in the first quarter of 2017.

Moreover, the project with a capacity of 402 MW is developed by Masdar in collaboration with Norwegian firms Statoil and Staktraft.

On the other hand, the whole investments of the project are almost Dh7.15bn and the plan will be built at 32 kilometers from the North Norfolk coast of East England.

In addition, the finishing of the Dudgeon wind farm will bring Masdar"s installed clean capacity in the UK to more than 1 gigawatt.
