Processed Food sales Jump during Olympics

(MENAFN) Industry data showed Tuesday that sales of processed food and other related products in S. Korea increased along with Olympics as more people consume them while watching TV.

As a result of the time difference between S. Korea and Brazil, plays are broadcasted in late night hours or early morning, and that helps them consume more food to stay awake.

In details, dessert and snacks sales increased 60% during the first week this month, and those of rice and soups jumped to 55%.
