(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A man has been charged with sexual abuse at the Sharjah Misdemeanour Court recently.
The Sharjah Misdemeanor court has booked the Asian for exploiting the expatriate woman, when he found her alone. However, during the court hearing he denied the accusation and said that woman's allegation is baseless. He told the court that he paid her Dh1,000 and had met her in a hotel in Dubai, consumed alcohol and agreed to pay her the money before they went to a flat in Sharjah. The accused alleged that the women had stolen Dh600 from him when he stopped at a restaurant to buy food. He said that the woman lodged complaint against him because he refused to give her more money. In a separate case, the Sharjah Court charged three Asians for attempted robbery. The accused has attempted to steal from Haj and Umrah offices. They managed to break in after tying up the guard with a rope but they could not find money. The three defendants denied the charges and requested the court to release them on bail. Amira Agarib
