Bahrain condemns Quetta terrorist bombing

MANAMA, 8th August, 2016 (WAM) Bahrain strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted today a hospital in the city of Quetta in Baluchistan province, Pakistan, killing and wounding scores of innocent people.

The kingdom expressed its deep condolences and sincere sympathies to the relatives and families of the victims, and its wishes for a speedy recovery to all the wounded in the terrorist act that has no link to religion, and contrary to all norms, human and moral values, according to Bahrain News Agency (BNA).

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its support to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in its fight against terrorism as well as its support to efforts aimed at bolstering security and stability," the ministry said in a statement.

"It renews the Kingdom's stance against all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism, and its solidarity with all regional and international efforts to get rid of this dangerous phenomenon, which is aimed at destabilising peace and security in all countries of the world."
