Israeli soldiers arrest 14 Palestinians, demolish homes and barracks


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, Aug.8 (Petra) -- Israeli occupation forces on Monday arrested14 Palestinians, destroyed animal bans and structures in different parts of the West Bank, a Palestinian source said.

According to the Palestinian Prisoner's Club, Israeli soldiers stormed the West Bank cities of Ramallah, Hebron, Nablus and arrested 14Palestinians.

Also today, Israeli bulldozers destroyed a water pipe used to connect Yazra area in east Tubas north of the West Bank.

According to the Palestinian official in charge of the Projects Committee, Mukhlis Masaeed , the Israeli troops destroyed the 11 Kilometer length water pipe under the pretext it is located near a military area in Tubas and the northern Jordan Valley.

The occupation troops also forced a Palestinian resident in Sabastia to destroy his $ 3,000 worth sheep barracks claiming it is built without a permit in a C area. Two other structures and a home owned by a Palestinian family were also destroyed by the soldiers, the source added.
