(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug.8 (Petra) -- Normal summer conditions are expected to continue on Monday in the hilly areas, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD),winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk.
A slight rise in temperatures is forecast over the next two days to become 2-3 degrees above their annual average, but similar relatively hot weather will prevail in the mountainous areas with extremely hot conditions in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the JMD added.
Temperatures forecast in the capital for today will reach a high of 33 degrees Celaius and a low of 22, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 42 degrees dropping down to 30 degrees at night.
