UAE- Amal Al Qubaisi sends congratulatory cable to Peruvian counterpart

ABU DHABI, 7th August, 2016 (WAM) -- Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), has sent a congratulatory cable to Luz Salgado Rubianes, President of Peruvian Congress, on the occasion of her election to the post.

Dr. Al Qubaisi said, "On my behalf, and members of the Federal National Council, FNC, I extend greetings to you on the occasion of your election as the President of the Peruvian Congress. We look forward to enhancing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries through developing parliamentary ties to wider horizons to translate aspirations of the leaders of the two countries and peoples."

The FNC Speaker emphasised the council's keenness on developing bilateral relations between the FNC and Congress of Peru, which would include exchange of views, unified positions regarding issues of mutual interest, and other regional and international issues that could strengthen ties between the UAE and Latin American and Caribbean countries as well.
