KUWAIT CITY, Aug 6: An Egyptian expatriate was arrested in Khaitan area in possession of 1.5 kilograms of crystal meth and two weighing scales used for weighing drugs. According to security sources, when the Drugs Control General Department received information about an Egyptian expatriate involved in drug peddling in Khaitan area, a team was formed for investigations. He was arrested after an undercover agent was sent to him to purchase 50 grams of crystal meth. They raided his apartment and found 1.5 kilograms of crystal meth and two weighing scales. The suspect was referred with the confiscated items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action. Drugs with ex-con: An ex-con Bedoun man was arrested from his house in Naeem area in possession of 10,000 narcotics pills known as 'Lexus,' says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, when securitymen received information about a Bedoun man involved in drug peddling, they carried out investigations to confirm the information. When they raided his house, they found 10,000 narcotic pills. The suspect was arrested and referred with the narcotic pills to the Drugs Control General Department for investigations.
