DOHA: Cyriac Varghese, Group General Manager of Sky Jewellery, handed over the key of a Mercedes Benz car to Mohammed Abdur Razzak, a Bangladeshi expatriate, one the winners of its recent grand summer promotion.
In addition to Razzak, two winners of five sovereigns of gold each and five winners of two sovereigns of gold each and another five who won one sovereign of gold each, also received their prizes at the same gathering held at the Sky Jewellery showroom near HBK signal.
Sky Jewellery had announced a total of two Mercedez Benz cars and 125 sovereigns of gold as prizes for the three regions of Doha, Dubai and Muscat. Of this, one Mercedes Benz car and 25 sovereigns of gold were offered in Doha region alone. The prize-awarding ceremony was conducted in the presence of customers, who witnessed the ceremony and got to see the winner. Thus they were able to repose their trust in Sky Jewellery and its mode of conducting promotions, announcing winners and presenting the grand prizes to winners. 'We believe in transparency. The big prizes are also to enhance the life of at least a few winners that can make a difference to their life,” Babu John, Managing Director of Sky Jewellery, said. Among others present at the function were Mian Ehsanullah, Head of Corporate & International Banking, and Samuel Varma, Relationship Manager of Al Khaliji Bank; P K Mohan and Tom C Jacob, both regional managers of Sky Jewellery.
