His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, today extended condolences to the family of martyr Jassim Isa Al Balushi, who died on duty while fighting the fire that broke out on an Emirates Airline's plane at Dubai International Airport on Wednesday (August 4).

During a visit to the mourning majlis in Kharran area, Shaikh Mohammed expressed heartfelt sympathy and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest his soul in Paradise and bless his family with patience and solace.

He was accompanied by His Highness Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group, and Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director-General of the Protocol and Hospitality Department in Dubai.
