U.S. giant EOG loses USD293mn in Q2


(MENAFN) EOG Resources, one of U.S. main oil and gas firms posted a loss of USD293mn in the second quarter of this year, after earning USD5.3mn in 2015.

However, the firm posted drop in its revenues by 28 percent to USD1.8bn in the cited quarter of the recent year.

On the other hand, the company pupmed 50mn barrels of oil equivalent per day, 2 percent less than it did in the same period last year.

In addition, the firm lost USD764mn, almost USD600mn more than during the same period last year.
