Oman's exports to India posts 5 pct increase


(MENAFN) Oman's import from India posted a 37 percent increase in the first quarter of the new fiscal year 2016-17 and its exports recorded growth by 5 percent.

Moreover, Oman's imports from India which reached 30 percent growth in the first two months of fiscal year 2016-17 posted an increase of 37.3 percent.

The Sultanate's export to India broke expectations of negative growth for the last several months and posted a positive increase of 4.5 percent for Q1.

In addition, Oman exported to India merchandise and services worth USD446.35mn, posting an increase of 4.94 percent.
