Mahija Suresh, Bincy Lee Binu, Usha Satheesan, Mita Poddar and Sony Libin opened the exhibition of their paintings at the Al Majlis Art Cafe, City Seasons Hotel in Al Khuwayr on Wednesday.

The exhibition will continue until the end of this month. This exhibition is a part of the Wednesday On Walls (WOW) Event held at the City Seasons Hotel to promote upcoming artists in the country.

The exhibition is called 'The Arabs Decorem', which is the latin for 'The Arabian Beauty'. The theme of the art expo will be mainly about Oman and its culture although they will be showcasing a few of their other art works as well.

They are five amateurs for whom art is an intriguing pursuit. Having lived in Oman for around ten years, they enjoy assimilating their surroundings and work on canvas. Finding inspirations from the picturesque scenes of Oman, their paintings are aesthetic and naturalistic.

Although all of them have been painting since their young ages back in their home country, it was only after they began as a group in Muscat that they found their fad more exciting and fascinating.

They found happiness and solace while working in the presence of each other. Having conducted two exhibitions before, which were well appreciated, they are now enthusiastic and looking foward to this one.
