Oman- Towell Auto Centre to introduce new turbo charged model

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat-

Automotive technologies are changing and, in fact, getting smarter. One of these technologies is the use of turbocharged engines to increase fuel efficiency and environmental performance without compromising on the much needed power when you need it.

Since the 1960s, automobile manufacturers have been pushing the automotive industry to make their cars more fuel efficient, without reducing the overall power output.

The biggest advantage of utilising a turbocharged four-cylinder engine is the ability to generate more power with the efficiency of a four-cylinder.

Turbo-4 engines operate much like their naturally aspirated four-cylinder counterparts. While displacement remains the same, turbocharged engines have the ability to get a boost in power when needed.

So when you need to get your car up to highway speeds, the turbocharger pushes compressed air to the cylinders, making more room for fuel. The increase in fuel creates larger explosions in each cylinder, allowing you to access more power and more torque for effortless acceleration and overtaking, even when towing and carrying loads. In Oman, while V-6 engines are still preferred for traditional reasons, there is a gradual shift towards the smarter turbo technology to reduce costs, especially with the rising fuel prices.

Mazda has been a pioneer of new efficient smarter technologies that can be used in mass production like the rotary engines and the recent Skyactiv technology that not only makes the engine more efficient without compromising on power but also enhances the safety and response of the transmission. Mazda represented by Towell Auto Centre (TAC) in Oman will be bringing a new turbo charged model in the market.
