(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug.4 (Petra) -- Relatively hot conditions are expected to prevail Thursday in the hilly areas, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
A slight drop in temperatures is forecast Friday to become around their seasonal average; but similar weather conditions will continue to prevail across the country. Winds will be northwesterly moderate, the JMD added.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach a high of 34 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 21 at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 40 degrees plunging to 29, the JMD explained.
