Jordan signs USD251.6mn worth deal with Britain


(MENAFN) Jordan and Britain signed a Memorandum of Understanding in order to provide financial help to Jordan, in addition to the help provided for refugees amid the UN organizations.

Accordingly, the MOU involved a funding ceiling value USD251.6mn divided to two priorities, while the first one will enhance economic chances with value of USD145.7mn.

Moreover, the second priority is a program to encourage education at a value of USD105.96mn that will be offered in the form of grants, to accommodate Syrian students.

On the other hand, most of the aid will be directed among the government of Jordan and a small part of it will be amid the UN and other organizations.
