Oman's Orpic USD9bn project to make Sohar main petrochemical site
(MENAFN) Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Co. (Orpic) USD9bn worth of projects will make Sohar top petrochemical site in the world.
Furthermore, Sohar Refinery will overcome the limits of Residue Fluidised Catalytic Cracking (RFCC) unit in Sohar and will enhance capacity by 70 percent.
Meanwhile, the project with a capital expenditure of USD2.7bn is organized for commissioning towards the end of this year.
In addition, the project covers three key elements; a 290km multiproduct pipeline, a terminal in Al Jifnain and a pipeline link from Al Jifnain to Muscat Intl' Airport.
