Riyadh, Shawwal 26, 1437, Jul 31, 2016, SPA -- Commodore Staff Saher bin Mohammed Al-Harbi, the spokesman of the border guard, said today that a patrol of the border guard in Jazan region has successfully aborted an attempt to smuggle a big quantity of drugs across the southern border.
In a statement, he said that the border guard dealt with the case decisively and firmly and exchanged fire with the infiltrators, resulting in the capture of four Ethiopians and confiscated an amount of 156 kilograms of drugs.
An investigation into the incident was launched, he said.
