Steady Growth for Euro Zone before UK vote, put outlook at risk

(MENAFN) Steady growth in Euro zone was in line with economists' expectations in Q2, which support estimates by the European Central Bank. Also, to know what kind of damage Brexit caused, it needs some more time.

According to an estimate published by the European Union's statistics, GDP raised by 0.3% in the last three months. Also, that follows an increase of a 0.6% in the previous period. Another data confirmed that prices increased surprisingly to 0.2% in July, which is the highest since last January.

As Joerg Zeuner, Chief Economist at Germany's state-owned development bank KFW stated that: it is a different world since Brexit," even if "the first business-climate indicators only suggest a modest hangover for the euro area."
