(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Turkey";s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan yesterday met Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. The Minister conveyed greetings and wishes of Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Erdogan and the Turkish people of further progress and development. Erdogan asked the Minister to convey his greetings to the Emir and wishes to the Qatari people of further development and prosperity. Talks dealt with bilateral ties, ways of enhancing them, the latest developments in the region, especially Syria, and ways to end the escalating crisis there. Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu also held separate talks with Sheikh Mohammed.
