Oman- Bank Sohar distributes prizes to Euro Cup Facebook competition winners

Following the conclusion of the recent Euro Cup football season, and subsequently Bank Sohar's 'Ramadan Euro Cup Competition', the bank conducted a prize distribution ceremony where it presented certificates worth RO100 to each of the 15 winners.

The competition, which was launched last month, presented the bank's Facebook followers with an opportunity to win cash prizes totalling RO1,500 by answering questions related to the 2016 Euro Cup.

The prize distribution was conducted at the bank's head office in MBD where Mazin Mahmood al Raisi, Sr AGM and head of marketing and customer experience, Bank Sohar, handed over cash gift certificates to the winners. Thirteen of the 15 winners collected their gift certificates on the day, while arrangements have been made for the remaining two winners of the Facebook contest to receive their prizes at the Bank Sohar branch nearest to each of them.

Titled 'Ramadan Euro Cup Competition', the Facebook competition ran from June 12 till June 30 on Bank Sohar's Facebook page.

Over the course of the 15-working day competition, participants were required to answer a new question posted each day on the then ongoing Euro Cup. The first correct entry from each user per question was then entered into a computerised draw, which was conducted after the competition ended.
